On the evening of October 22, the TV cultural gala *Ode to the Long March*, commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army's Long March, was broadcast. A scene-based epic brought the audience back to the magnificent journey of 25,000 li, and many were moved to tears after watching it.

From the very opening of the gala, the weight of history was palpable. Ninety honor guards from the Guard of Honor Battalion of the Chinese People's Liberation Army marched with 90 resounding goose steps, holding 90 solemn flags, opening the curtain on 90 years of history. All 90 flags were restored according to their original historical appearance. What the flag formation unfolded was not only segments of memory but also the resounding footsteps echoing from the depths of history. The gala brought the Long March spirit into every perceptible detail: the Battle of Luding Bridge was authentically recreated with the original form of 13 iron chains — 9 laid as the bridge deck and 4 as railings. Straw sandals, military bugles, literacy classes, campfires, and red flags — these images, as emotional carriers, connected the moving stories along the Long March. Restoring history through details is a reverence for history and a tribute to the martyrs.

What made these details "speak" and made faith "audible" was every precise and restrained beam of light on stage. As the lighting support provider for this gala, FINE ART used professional stage lighting products to lay a perceptible, audible, and communicable light-and-shadow foundation for this TV cultural gala.

In expansive scenes such as the unfolding flag formation and the recreated iron-chain bridge, the FINE 1400LH BSWF, with its 1400W LED light engine, outputs over 40,000 lm of luminous flux. Its 5–50° 10x zoom flexibly covers different shot sizes, and its light quality of Ra ≥ 95 and R9 ≥ 90 restores the red of the flags and the cold sternness of the iron chains with steadiness and authenticity. Its patented cooling system ensures continuous full-power operation at room temperature, keeping the light effects stable throughout the performance. Its 6 color filters plus white, rotating gobo wheel, dynamic effect wheel, and full framing system rotatable ±90° produce sharp, distortion-free cut edges, providing clean and crisp light-shape boundaries for scene transitions.

Addressing the needs of stage depth and long-distance projection, the FINE 1700LH BSWF, with its 100m effective range and low noise performance below 45dB, balances silent operation while maintaining outstanding light quality. Its built-in second-generation color standard offers good color consistency and a wide color gamut. Combined with a color wheel, dual rotating gobo wheels, a dynamic effect wheel, and a ±90° full framing system, it makes the same-stage dialogue across 90 years of time and space appear more solemn in unified light and color.

In scenes requiring soft color mixing and delicate dimming, the FINE 4019 PIXIE IP all-weather moving head wash light, with its all-new optical design, balances uniform color mixing and soft texture. It offers a 4°–40° zoom, an illuminance of up to 25,000 lux at 6 meters at narrow angles, and a linearly adjustable color temperature from 2500K to 8000K with essentially stable brightness. Its smooth, delicate dimming and flicker-free start-up at low brightness provide delicate emotional layers for dramatic scenes.

In the character follow-spot segment, the FINE iSPOT PILOT pan-tilt system solved the traditional challenges of follow-spot operation. With no need for high-altitude work, multiple follow spots can be controlled simultaneously from the ground, reducing installation time and operating costs. The FINE 1700LH iSPOT has an effective range of up to 100m, with Ra and R9 both reaching 95. It is equipped with 12 color filters, a rotating gobo wheel, a fixed gobo wheel, a dynamic effect wheel, and a ±90° full framing system. A high-definition digital camera is mounted on the fixture head and can be connected to the FINE iSPOT PILOT pan-tilt system via fiber optics or Ethernet, enabling precise tracking of moving performers or targets on stage.

This "TV art epic" truly made the Long March spirit of 90 years ago perceptible, audible, and communicable on today's stage. Stepping off the stage means a firm departure toward a new journey. Commemorate the Long March, continue the Long March, and walk well the Long March road of every generation and every individual. FINE ART uses light as a brush to let history "speak" and faith be "audible" — this is both a technical answer sheet of stage light and shadow and the most plain tribute to the Long March spirit.
