Marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of China's aerospace industry, the original drama *Sword Pointing to the Firmament* by Northwestern Polytechnical University held a trial performance on October 8 at the Soaring Student Center on the Chang'an Campus. Organized and created by the university's Art Education Center, the drama featured more than 40 cast and crew members, all students from various schools within the university. With plain yet warm expression, it presented the unwavering sincerity of a scientist, drawing rounds of applause from the audience. This round of trial performances ran for three consecutive days from October 7 to 9, with more than 3,000 faculty and student audience members attending in person.

The drama is based on Mr. Chen Shilu, one of the pioneers and founders of China's aerospace education, a renowned aerospace educator, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Through seven scenes, it connects Mr. Chen's life experiences of seeking knowledge to serve the nation, establishing the specialty, safeguarding the discipline, and dedicating himself to nurturing talent. It shows his firm choice to journey from the Jiangnan water towns to the Northwest and devote his life's efforts to the nation's aerospace cause, and also presents the arduous pioneering and torch-passing development journey of Northwestern Polytechnical University's aerospace discipline. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the westward relocation of the former Huazhong Institute of Technology (now part of Northwestern Polytechnical University). Mr. Chen Shilu's life of taking root in the Northwest and dedicating himself to aerospace is a vivid portrayal of the westward relocation spirit.

In this stage presentation of the scientist's spirit, two professional lighting fixtures from FINE ART used precise light and shadow to paint the backdrop of the times for Academician Chen Shilu's life of serving the nation. The FINE 1700LH BSWF four-in-one framing light, with an outstanding color rendering index of Ra and R9 both greater than or equal to 95, accurately reproduced the temporal and spatial transition from the Jiangnan water towns to the Northwest gobi and the period texture of the characters' costumes. Equipped with dual color wheels with 12 professional color filters, CMY infinite color mixing combined with CTO linear color temperature adjustment, and rotating and fixed gobo wheels working with a dynamic effect wheel, it unfolded one by one Mr. Chen's youthful years of seeking knowledge to serve the nation, the arduous pioneering of establishing the specialty, the persistent safeguarding of the discipline, and the deep affection of a teacher dedicated to nurturing talent.

The FINE 4019 WASH PLUS high-power LED moving head wash light, with its all-new optical design, balances uniform color mixing and soft effects. At narrow angles, it delivers 30,000 lux at 6 meters, and its wide 4° to 60° zoom range effortlessly meets diverse lighting needs from solo monologues to impassioned ensemble scenes. It rendered the warm interactions between Mr. Chen and his students and the key decisions in discipline construction with delicacy and depth, allowing the faculty and student audience to perceive, through the university's origins, the noble character of the westward-relocation generation of aerospace predecessors who held fast to their original aspiration and supported the younger generation.

As the applause echoed for a long time in the Soaring Student Center, FINE ART uses light as a brush, not only illuminating Academician Chen Shilu's magnificent life of dedication to aerospace and nurturing talent through research, but also reflecting the spiritual lineage of the 70-year torch-passing legacy of the westward relocation of the former Huazhong Institute of Technology.
