Puxian opera 'Walking under an Umbrella' will be performed in Beijing in the next two days

On the evening of March 14th and 15th, Puxian's play Walking Under an Umbrella will participate in the New Era stage art Outstanding drama performance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism at Tianqiao Theatre in Beijing.
"Walking under an umbrella" tells a series of stories about two young men and women who have already been engaged but have never met each other after meeting in the war. It interprets the beautiful and touching love story and reveals the simple love and life philosophy of "two feelings may be simple, but the wind and rain are true". With a positive theme and rich connotations, the play reflects the traditional Chinese concept of "harmony" and conforms to the core values of socialism. It is praised by the theater circle as "a milestone in the inheritance and innovation of ancient operas" and "a model of traditional opera integrity and innovation".
Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the "Excellent Stage Plays of the New Era" selected 61 excellent plays rehearsed by professional art institutes and troupes from all over the country. The performance was conducted in a combination of offline and online performances, and about 120 performances were held in major theaters in Beijing.
