As the only work of Hunan Province selected as the final award of the 17th Wenhua Award, the large-scale modern Flower Drum opera "The Family Beyond the Mountain" jointly created by Hunan Flower Drum Opera Protection and Inheritance Center and Yiyang Flower Drum Opera Protection and Inheritance Center will be presented at the 13th Chinese Arts Festival in the Opera Hall of Tianjin Grand Theater on the evening of August 28-29.
There are innovations in script structure, directing technique, music creation, stage design and so on. The scriptwriter orientates the creation as "Chinese story, human theme", which is ingenious and fascinating, and flows in one breath, forming a beautiful and unique idyllic poem. Lighting design sets off a profound, unified, contracted artistic style, with clear cold and warm, both a sense of time, and local amorous feelings.
