From August 24 to 25, the ethnic opera Yimeng Mountain was performed at the Guanhanqing Grand Theater in Baoding City, Hebei Province, as the 17th Wenhua Award.
The ethnic opera Yimeng Mountain is co-produced by the Publicity Department of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, Linyi Municipal Committee of the CPC, Shandong Publishing Group, and created and rehearsed by Shandong Song and Dance Theater.
Yimeng, national opera with a real history as the background of the development of yimeng revolutionary base, to the Anti-Japanese War as the main line, to daqingshan break material, deep cliff battles, tells the story of Chinese flowering crabapple, alpine, summer lotus, Sun Jiulong people in national crisis is closely combined with personal destiny, self-sacrifice, and wholeheartedly, unity the story of the war of resistance. The play vividly depicts the heroic image of Shandong army and people who sacrificed their lives for justice and served the country and the people during the Anti-Japanese War. The image reveals the Yimeng spirit connotation of "the party and the masses are of one mind, the army and the people are deep, the water is harmonious, and the life and death are shared together".
