FINE ART Professional Lighting Fixtures Support the Unveiling of Shanxi Technology and Business University's "Business Hall," Opening a New Chapter in Aesthetic Education
In a flourishing era, culture and education thrive; in a splendid hall, a new chapter is written. On August 30, Shanxi Technology and Business University celebrated its 40th anniversary. Over four decades, this institution rooted in the land of Shanxi has always upheld its original aspiration of nurturing talent, growing from humble beginnings to a garden of flourishing students, and from deep engagement in teaching to the flourishing of aesthetic education, steadily forging a distinctive path of high-quality development. Forty years of accumulation represent the steadfast dedication of countless builders working day and night, and the striving of generations of the university community passing the torch.
At this pivotal moment of inheriting the past and opening the future, the university's newly created campus cultural landmark, the "Business Hall," was officially unveiled and opened. Built to the standards of a national-level professional grand theatre, this cultural palace integrates cultural education, academic exploration, and the hosting of large-scale events, with multiple functions including opera and dance drama performances, symphony concerts, high-end conferences, and academic exchanges. As the core benchmark carrier of the university's "Ten Venues for Education" project, the completion of the Business Hall not only marks an upgrade in the university's hardware but also signifies a new step forward in aesthetic education and cultural nurturing.
Following the unveiling ceremony, an artistic performance commenced within this brand-new cultural palace. Nearly 300 FINE ART professional stage lighting fixtures used precise light and shadow to inject radiant brilliance blending technology and art into this glorious chapter. The FINE 600 BSW three-in-one moving head lights, positioned on the overhead lighting bars, worked in concert with the FINE 1700ZLS BSWF, cutting through the hall with the sharp sensation of pure beams. Combined with rotating gobo wheels and fixed gobo wheels, they transformed powerful rhythms into visible, rhythmic light and shadow. The rich CMY + CTO + flowing color wheel, together with independent frost, prisms, and dynamic effect wheels, allowed the performance to switch freely between jubilation and tenderness, always guiding the audience's emotional rhythm.
The FINE 1700ZLS BSWF four-in-one framing light, with its custom 1500W module, burst forth with a powerful 40,000 lm of light energy. When the rising orchestra pit lifted the symphony orchestra and the solemn moment of Song of the New Era resounded, its built-in second-generation color standard, with pure, full colors and a wide gamut, rendered the magnificent atmosphere beneath the hall's dome to the utmost. A full framing system, rotatable ±90°, with sharp, distortion-free cut edges, precisely framed the lead dancer's posture during the impassioned section of the group dance Drum Sentiment, making the pulse of forty years of passing the torch a unmistakable visual focal point in crisp light and shadow.
The FINE 4019G WASH PLUS high-power LED moving head wash lights were distributed across the upper side light, lower side light, and overhead lighting bars. With multi-angle, all-around wash coverage, they created a light and color foundation of uniform mixing and soft effects for the stage. At narrow angles, they deliver 30,000 lux at 6 meters, with a wide 4° to 60° zoom range effortlessly meeting diverse lighting needs from solo dances to group dances. Their smooth, delicate dimming and flicker-free start-up at low brightness perfectly matched the heartfelt narration of the recitation Tribute to the Builders and the warm tenderness of the song-and-dance Thank You, allowing every moment of emotion to flow quietly in even, soft light.
As the front light workhorse, the FINE 400GD LEKO high-color-temperature LED profile light, with its 5600K light quality and 400W high-CRI module, provided high-definition, high-fidelity facial lighting for the performers. The passion between the dancers' brows and the determination in the builders' eyes were rendered in minute detail under its delicate brush of light, making the coming-of-age stories of the young people of the university in the original dances Like a Play and Packing Happiness truly tangible and deeply moving.
In the depth of the stage, the FINE 400CLS7, serving as cyclorama and floor lights, was positioned at the bottom front of the stage and overhead. With its 7-color full-spectrum optical design, it constructed an evenly distributed curtain of light. It continuously outputs white light with color temperatures from 2700K to 10,000K, with Ra and R9 both maintained above 90 and light output exceeding 16,000 lm. From the magnificent opening of Song of the New Era to the impassioned finale of Setting Off Again, the cyclorama and floor lights, with their broad color temperature range and outstanding color mixing performance, allowed the spatial depth and contemporary spirit of the hall to unfold slowly in light and shadow.
