FINE ART Lighting Lights Up the 2026 CMG Lantern Festival Gala
Following their outstanding performance at the Spring Festival Gala, Colorful Technology's high-quality luminaires once again illuminated the CMG Lantern Festival Gala. With innovative lighting effects, they helped create this cultural family feast where traditional charm and modern vitality intertwine. The FINE 1700LH BSWF and FINE 600 BSW IP provided exceptional color rendering, the FINE 4019 PIXIE and FINE 6019 PIXIE delivered stunning visual effects, and the FINE ISPOT PILOT ground followspot system ensured smooth and precise tracking, collectively providing full support for the stage presentation.
The gala seamlessly integrated folk customs such as viewing lanterns and solving lantern riddles throughout the program. The opening song and dance, "Perfect Lantern Festival," recreated scenes of bustling joy in the streets. In the song "Thousands of Lanterns in Every Home," fish-shaped lanterns and dragon lanterns blossomed one after another, showcasing the vibrant energy of the lantern festival. The creatively arranged opera song "Night of Flowing Spring River, Blossoms, and Full Moon" masterfully blended the vocal styles of Peking Opera and Kunqu Opera, singing of hopeful wishes for blooming flowers and a radiant full moon.
To perfectly present these visual spectacles, multiple professional luminaires from Colorful Technology worked in powerful synergy. The FINE 1700LH BSWF multi-function profile lights, with their powerful beams reaching up to 100 meters and exceptional color rendering (Ra and R9 both greater than 95), accurately restored the brilliant colors of the lanterns and the expressive performances of the actors, making thousands of lanterns shine brightly on stage.
The FINE 600 BSW IP multi-function luminaires, with their sharp light quality and clear gobo imaging, provided precise visual focus for both opera segments and modern song and dance performances. Their ability to switch between beam and pattern modes with virtually no light loss allowed them to effortlessly meet the lighting demands of different programs, enabling traditional opera charm and melodies to blend seamlessly through light and shadow.
The ground followspot system, FINE ISPOT PILOT, truly demonstrated its capabilities. It allowed for simultaneous remote control of multiple followspots from ground level, achieving millisecond-level precise tracking.
