On April 11, after a year and a half of meticulous preparation, the modern drama "Model Village" was unveiled at the theater of the Shaanxi Provincial Opera Research Institute.

Based on Haojiaqiao Village in Suide, northern Shaanxi, the modern drama "Model Village" tells the story of the struggle of an ordinary village in the depths of the Loess Plateau with the simple value of "doing a good job in production and living a good situation", and has made unremitting efforts for decades, coming from the glory of the past and creating a new era and new glory.

Since its inception, the play has received great attention and strong support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and has been selected as the "New Era Reality Theme Creation Project Project" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the 2022 Major Cultural Boutique Project of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Key Topic Selection Project of the New Era Reality Theme Creation Project of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

Visually, the theater integrates the images of a variety of villagers in northern Shaanxi, presenting the flourishing life of this land in a visual language. At the same time, the stage lighting echoes the plot in the dark colors, transforming into a soul character in the opera performance.

The repertoire features a range of FINE ART professional stage lights, including the all-acclaimed TEKMAND III console, the FINE 1400 series and the FINE 470 BSW. Accompanied by the most popular music tune of "Thirty Lipu" in northern Shaanxi, a rural drama with light comedy and strong northern Shaanxi style is brilliantly interpreted, conveying the local customs and nostalgia of northern Shaanxi countryside to the audience.
