A successful audition for the Yue opera, Ant Island on the Crest of a Wave

Ant Island on the Crest of a Wave, a large-scale and original modern Yue opera, was successfully auditioned at Zhoushan Art Theater.
"Ant Island on the Crest of a Wave" is a large-scale modern Yue opera with the theme of Ant Island. The drama takes the emotional entanglements and conflicts of the four generations of Ant Islanders in the mid-1950s, late 1970s, around 2005 and the new era as the main line, showing the communication and collision between the ideas, behaviors and emotions of the four generations of women on Ant Islanders. It not only reflects the difference in concepts between different generations, but also reflects the common values of the people on Ant Islanders, that is, one generation after another. The Ant Island spirit that strives for the sustainable well-being of the island with each generation.
The drama has been successfully listed as one of the two major dramas to be developed by the Publicity Department of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee in 2022, as well as a supported project of Zhejiang Culture and Art Development Fund.
