On March 16, the National Arts Fund 2022 annual funding project, Chongqing Song and Dance troupe to create the modern dance drama "Absolute Test" debuted at Chongqing Grand Theater, with the legend of the Red rock spectrum of heroes of the female hero Zhang Luping as the character prototype, shaping a lonely desperate stage art image shining human brilliance and faith power.
Originally, dance dramas are not good at expressing ideas and narration, but this drama takes a different approach. Starting from "humanity" and "belief", it uses delicate emotional output and dance presentation, and then works with stage design, sound and light to bring the audience into the story step by step. In terms of dance presentation, "Absolute Test" combines classical dance, tango, national standard and other kinds of dance, making the dance drama "Absolute Test" more fashionable and dynamic visually. The stage of the dance drama absorbs the landform features of Chongqing, integrates landmarks such as Chaotianmen Wharf, Guanyin Bridge and Shapingba, as well as the old hotpot and teahouse with the most folk customs in Chongqing, creating a unique geographical space for the work of Absolute Test.
Large stage installations are made of metal elements to highlight the iron will of the characters. On the basis of being faithful to the characters and history, the costume and makeup pay attention to the characteristics of The Times and the changes in details. Lighting highlights the sense of lines and creates a changeable stage atmosphere. More than 10 lighting products of Color-YI contribute to the play, bringing a sense of quality light effect to the atmosphere, space, emotion and character image of the play.
From March 16 to 30, the dance drama "Absolute Test" will open its first performance for half a month, leading the audience to pursue the "light of faith"!
